My blogger start by buying a house from Alam Tenggara Kuantan Pahang somewhere 2006 and my CF don't know what that means somewhere 2009. I was a proud house owner, but.... when I put my first step and my house came down one at a time first the tiles the whole house were wave like, second when I put in the electricity half of the house no supply then small thing be came big and from one day to a week a month and now going into year's and my first step became one step back and out. Now a day's I just visit my house like a sick person in the Hospital. So I just want to share what I am going thur and wish someone out there will give me a helping hand..

ReplyDeleteI think we have issues about Alam Tenggara but mine is slightly different. Totally agree with you about the cheap and bad quality of building materials, but I have another problem. You see, my husband is a school teacher. Therefore he bought the house in 2008 using government loan. I just want to share my story about Alam Tenggara. They intentionally put on delay in processing the payment. I suspect that there have been some sort of com-plot with the legal firm that they appointed to manage all the relevant papers. Every time we call and ask why the query keep coming mentioning and asking about documents they should send, they said they have sent it. But as far as we know, the finance department never receive any of those required documents. Only recently all the documents finally completed and the full payment have been paid to AT. This has been going on for almost a year (the delaying period). Now, when they gave us the house keys, they ask us to pay interest charge as much as RM9K. We didn't get the over loan (around RM5K), yet we still have to pay RM4K++ some more. Alam Tenggara has been charging this kind of charges to almost every house owners in my housing area. WE feel that we have been deceived! Therefore, we ask favour from friends from legal firms and they said it looks like Alam Tenggara is trying to deceive house buyers and adviced to put a complaint through Bahagian Penguatkuasaan dan Aduan, Jabatan Perumahan Negara. I know exactly how you feel because we share the same feeling.. Alam Tenggara memang penipu besar. We should unite, and confront Alam Tenggara. We came across few people when we confronted AT project manager at AT office earlier today, and the buyers have the same problem. Alam TEnggara makan duit buyers. Putting inappropriate charges. What for? They've got full payment already and the house that we bought is 30% lebih mahal because we bought the house when it's 70% completed.
